Fairly clean hotel with accommodating staff. Continental breakfast with long life milk. Cute stunning location, close to the station. Also - next to London and a cafe in nearby village.

The Hotel had an 80's disco on the Friday night of our stay which we were not aware of the load music could be heard in our room, we then had noisy drunk neighbours very late/early morning. On both mornings the staff did not seem to be aware we were even staying in the Hotel when we turned up for breakfast which we had paid for! The room in need of decoration and updating not worth the rate.

ideal base for nature walks and exploring charming landmarks
I enjoyed my stay with lovely walks along the canal bank and a beautiful nearby nature reserve just a bit over three kilometers away, making it a perfect spot for a weekend adventure.

I was genuinely impressed by the beautiful setting, especially the Boathouse café and the Indian restaurant right next door. Both added a lovely touch to our experience. The room was quite comfortable, and I especially enjoyed having a small outdoor space to relax in during the evening after a long day of meetings. The cleanliness and furnishings were great, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the lodge accommodated our needs.
Only minor issue: the bed was uncomfortably hard.

good accomadation, convient for station into london
Resturant environment could be more cosy rather than cafeteria like.

We chose to stay here as we were attending a christmas party at the venue in the evening. Must admit we had some reservations about staying but they were not warranted - not sure it was 'executive' but it was certainly clean and comfortable and meant we could avoid a drive home - given the snow we were thankful! Had a lovely big breakfast before leaving.
